Sick but Alive!

[The following is meant to be read in a raspy, croaking voice interspersed with the occasional sneeze, sniffle or cough.]

I've come down with a cold. Nothing worse than I usually get, but it still put a damper on work and other plans lately.

Today was my sister's birthday! She's 17... holy cat-on-a-kite Batman! I got her a cute card that said, "Does this bug you? Does this bug you? I'm not touching you! Does this bug you?" That very much describes the majority of our relationship. ;P Happy Birthday Chels! Love ya! :D

Even though I'm sick, I feel really energetic right now. Maybe it's because I'm happy about being done with my calculus homework. Or maybe it's my totally sweet Christian rock channel on Pandora. Skillet, Red, Disciple, Switchfoot, Relient K, Nevertheless, Falling Up, The Wedding, AudioA, Run Kid Run, Hawk Nelson, etc.

Life is Good - Stellar Kart | Love this song! Just came on! "Life is good. Eternal life is better." How true! That's something that I not only want to believe but I want to live it! [Sorry, I digress. Now back to your regular scheduled blog.]

If you could see me right now, I would be slouched over my tablet staring at my monitor drawing and every so often I'd jump up, dance around, do some air-guitar or air-drums, and just be jamming out. I'm supremely pleased despite having to blow my partly blocked sinuses clear of mucus every 5 minutes.

Tomorrow is going to the awesome! I want to go to a discipleship meeting @ 7:30 in the morning, but I'll see how I'm feeling. Otherwise, I'll just go to the regular service.
And the Cards are in the Superbowl! I'm as exuberant as a fat little German boy in a Haagen Dazs factory.

Anyways, I'll probably draw a bit more, take a Hindenburg-sized load of vitamin C and NyQuil, and crash.

Good Night and God Bless,
Aaron

P.S. On my way home the other day, I saw a huge tanker truck full to the brim with some flammable material with a set of cross-hairs and word "Gunsight" printed along the side of it. I found that somewhat disturbing yet extremely amusing.

Back.

Alright, back from work. Short shift, but I filled in at a different store today. I came in to my store and Dave, my manager, goes, "You want to work at the Scottsdale store? They're really short on bodies." Although I have worked at this store before, it was still fun. Always nice to meet new people.
Some customer, an older lady, asked me, "You used to work at the store on Tatum. Why did you move?" I informed her I was just filling in today. It's nice to have customers remember you. It's too bad I could not ever remember seeing her before in my life.

This physics homework is killing me. Death via liquidation of neural matter. It's an excruciatingly painful way to go... trust me.

I need to:

-Send off that check to pay for the citation I got for rear-ending some lady on my way to a Christmas party.

-Finish previously mentioned homework. *headdesk*

-Get my airsoft gun working again.

-Work on CCC website stuff.

I think that's it, so... I believe it's either time for a nap or coffee. Or a nap then coffee. Yeah, good plan.

Initializing...

Well I have this blog and I'm inspired at the moment to actually post something. I'm not sure how long this will last. Maybe I can make it a daily/weekly habit or it will die... again. *sigh* I'll at least throw up a sentence or two a day. Yeah, gotta start somewhere.

Updates:

-Went to winter camp with Faith Bible Church over the weekend. The theme was Heroes. It was so completely awesome and totally worth the $140. More on that later.

-Classes started up again this week. I'm taking University Physics 2 and Calculus 3. If any classes are capable of giving you suicidal thoughts, these are it. After the first physics class I spent 3 hours reading the text. Oh boy, this is going fun! Needless to say these are going to require lots of studying... and prayer.

-I'm getting sick. Oh joy! *cough cough HACK*

-I trying to work on some website ideas for Cactus Computer Club. We decided on a steam/cyberpunk-ish feel with southwestern elements. Should be pretty awesome... if I can get my ideas on paper. We are suppose to meet on Saturday to go hiking and share ideas. I better have some pretty boss stuff ready to show by then or-

Oh snap! I got to go to work now. kthxbai!
